Radiology
Radiology entails investigations that uses imaging techniques dealing with X-rays and other high-energy radiation for the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Our Radiological services include –
- Computed Tomography (CT) Scan
- Digital X-Ray
- Mammography
- Sonography (Ultrasound)
Computed Tomography (CT)
Computed tomography, also known as CT or CAT scan is a non-invasive imaging test that uses X-rays beams to make detailed pictures of structures inside of the body. The detailed images may show problems in soft tissues, body organs, and bones. Doctors frequently use CT scan to examine the brain, sinuses, lungs, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and skeleton.
Investigations with our CT scan includes
- CT Abdomen and Pelvic Scan
- CT Brain with or without contrast
- Scan of the Arm, Foot, Chest, Spine etc
Please note that certain CT tests require special preparedness, we advise you to take up a prior notice to get prepared for your test.
Digital X-Ray
Digital radiography is a form of X-ray imaging, where digital X-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic film. Digital X-Ray ensures higher-quality radiographs with the very least exposure and much lower costs. It avoids limitations of film processing and development chemicals. This ensures faster test results and more accuracy.
Our GE Brivo DR-F digital X-Ray machine provides outstanding speed, sensitivity, contrast and resolution to produce images of the entire body. At Arrive Alive Diagnostic and Imaging Services, major X-Ray investigations include
-
- Bone x-ray (reveal fractures, infections, and bone cancer. Special x-ray scans can also be used to measure bone density)
- Chest X-Ray (detect lung infections and other conditions, including pneumonia, tuberculosis, or lung cancer)
- Abdominal X-Ray (to diagnose digestive track problems. Abdominal x-rays can also reveal non-digestible items swallowed by children)
Mammography
Mammography is specialized, non-invasive medical imaging technique that uses a low-dose x-ray system to examine the breasts. Diagnostic mammography is used to evaluate a patient with abnormal clinical findings such as a breast lump or nipple discharge that have been found by the woman or her doctor.
