HYSTERESCOPY

Hysterescopy is an outpatient procedure for examining the uterus (womb) and fallopian tubes by passing a scope through the cervix (neck of womb). Your doctor may recommend this procedure when he/she suspects abnormality within the womb, blockage of the fallopian tubes, missing IUCD and adhesions amongst others.

The procedure is done like the usual gynaecological examination with your feet in stirrups, speculum to spread the vaginal opening and insertion of the scope with insufflation of solutions.

During this procedure, our well experienced gynaecologist will be able to see the inside of the uterus and fallopian tubes and allow easy diagnosis. At AADIS, we will make the process as smooth as possible and offer additional advice if need be at no cost.
